A leading Tier 1 construction contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to join a major Ministry of Justice project in Rugby. Your new role

As Senior Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of site operations on a significant prison construction project, including the delivery of a new kitchen facility. Working closely with the wider project team, you will ensure the project is delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing all site activities and overseeing subcontractor performance
Driving health, safety, environmental and quality standards across the project
Coordinating multiple workstreams within a live and secure environment
Monitoring progress against programme and resolving site issues efficiently
Ensuring compliance with all project, client and security requirements
Maintaining strong communication with project stakeholders and the wider delivery team
Leading and motivating site-based teams to achieve successful project outcomesWhat you'll need to succeed

Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager working for a Tier 1 Main Contractor
Previous experience delivering Ministry of Justice (MOJ) projects
Active EL1 security clearance already in place
Enhanced DBS clearance
Strong leadership and people management skills
Excellent understanding of construction project delivery and health & safety legislation
Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating complex construction activities
Ability to work effectively within highly regulated and secure environments
Relevant qualifications include SMSTS, CSCS and First AidWhat you'll get in return
