Working Pattern: Monday to Friday | Hybrid Working Available (Typically 1 day in the office with visits to foster families)

The Role

As a Senior Social Worker / Advanced Practitioner within the Fostering Team, you will:

  * 

    Support, assess, and supervise foster carers.

  * 

    Provide professional guidance and mentoring within the fostering service.

  * 

    Complete fostering assessments, reviews, and statutory visits.

  * 

    Build strong relationships with children, foster families, and partner agencies.

  * 

    Ensure high-quality safeguarding and care planning in line with statutory guidance.

  * 

    Contribute to achieving the best possible outcomes for children in care.

Requirements

  * 

    Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.

  * 

    Significant experience within Fostering Services.

  * 

    Strong assessment, safeguarding, and relationship-building skills.

  * 

    Ability to support and guide colleagues while managing complex cases.

  * 

    Excellent communication, analytical, and report-writing skills.
