I'm working with a UK-based infrastructure organisation at the forefront of innovation and sustainability, seeking a Senior Software Developer. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-level applications while contributing to a collaborative and forward-thinking technical environment.

As a Senior Software Developer, you'll work closely with stakeholders, ensuring solutions are fit for purpose, customer-focused, and aligned to business goals. You'll also act as a senior figure within the team, helping shape best practices, mentoring colleagues, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, test, and maintain complex applications and integrations 
Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality, user-focused solutions 
Support and enhance software release processes, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment practices 
Maintain application support processes, ensuring minimal disruption and strong service delivery 
Contribute to development standards, policies, and team knowledge sharing 
Promote continuous improvement across systems, processes, and ways of working Key Skills & Experience

Strong full-stack development experience with .NET / .NET Core, C#, and Web APIs 
Front-end development using JavaScript frameworks (e.g. React) and CSS/Bootstrap 
Experience with Azure DevOps/Jenkins, Git, and CI/CD pipelines 
Solid SQL/database knowledge (SQL Server, Entity Framework) 
Understanding of secure coding practices (e.g. OWASP)
