£62,000 salary

We're partnering with a progressive housing provider in Hampshire who want a surveyor with backbone, confidence, and the technical know-how to lead their disrepair function.
This isn't a box-ticking survey gig, you'll be the go-to expert, the person teams rely on, and the one who stands up when it counts.
What You'll Be Getting Up To:
Acting as the organisation's Expert Witness (including court attendance when required)
Writing solid, Part 35-compliant expert reports that stand up under scrutiny
Owning and managing all legal disrepair claims in line with the Pre-Action Protocol
Carrying out detailed defect inspections and seeing complex issues through to resolution
Working closely with in-house and external legal teams to bring cases to a clean conclusion
This is a role for someone who enjoys the detail, isn't fazed by legal pressure, and wants to take real responsibility.
What You'll Bring:
CIOB, Building Degree, RICS or equivalent experience ( chartership not required)
Hands-on experience acting as a Senior Surveyor for social housing
Solid working knowledge of HHSRS, Building Regs
A sharp understanding of disrepair legislation and the housing conditions protocol
If you've dealt with the messy end of disrepair before, you'll hit the ground running.
