Service Advisor

Location: Wokingham, Berkshire
Salary: £30,000–£38,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: Monday–Friday, Full-Time (No Weekends)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our aftersales team in Wokingham. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a professional dealership that values exceptional customer service and offers a healthy work-life balance with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  * 

    Welcome customers and provide a professional, friendly service.

  * 

    Book vehicles in for servicing, MOTs, diagnostics, and repairs.

  * 

    Prepare accurate estimates and explain work required in a clear, customer-friendly manner.

  * 

    Liaise with workshop technicians to monitor repair progress.

  * 

    Keep customers updated throughout the service process.

  * 

    Obtain authorisation for additional work where required.

  * 

    Produce invoices and arrange smooth vehicle handovers.

  * 

    Promote additional products and services where appropriate.

  * 

    Maintain accurate records using the dealer management system.

  * 

    Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and compliance with company standards.

Candidate Requirements

  * 

    Previous experience as a Service Advisor within the automotive industry.

  * 

    Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  * 

    Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads.

  * 

    Ability to work efficiently in a busy aftersales environment.

  * 

    Experience using dealer management systems is desirable.

  * 

    Full UK driving licence preferred.
