Job Description

The Role:

We are seeking a confident, experienced, and highly organised Service Advisor to join a reputable dealership based in Plymouth. This is a rare opportunity to step into a sole Service Advisor position within a quieter, newly established aftersales department representing an exciting and growing brand.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys autonomy, takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service, and wants the chance to truly make the position their own. Responsibilities & Requirements of a Service Advisor:

Act as the primary point of contact for all service customers, managing the full customer journey from booking to vehicle handover.

Produce accurate job cards, update customers proactively, and ensure all work is authorised correctly.

Liaise closely with workshop technicians to ensure smooth daily operations.

Raise invoices and handle customer payments efficiently and professionally.

Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining high levels of organisation and attention to detail.

Work independently in a smaller aftersales environment, demonstrating confidence and strong decision-making skills.

Prior experience as a motor trade Service Advisor is essential.

Package:

Basic Salary: £30,500

On Target Earnings: £34,500 (Uncapped Bonus Potential)

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm with a 1-hour lunch, with flexibility available – for example, a shorter lunch to allow for an earlier finish.

No weekends – great work-life balance.
