What you’ll be getting stuck into as a Sewing Technician

Operating industrial sewing machinery to produce precise upholstery components
Working with a mixture of fabrics, leather, vinyl and technical textiles
Interpreting patterns, templates and instructions to maintain production accuracy
Assembling panels, piping, zips and covers to support smooth production flow
Checking materials and sewn parts for faults and carrying out adjustments when needed
Collaborating with cutters and upholsterers to keep work moving efficiently

Previous experience using industrial sewing equipment
Strong understanding of technical drawings and production instructions
Ability to work accurately with a range of upholstery materials
Extensive experience maintaining quality standards in a manufacturing environment
