Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Site Agent with a proven track record of working on Thames Water projects. The successful candidate will oversee and manage site operations for a major upgrade project involving sludge tank replacement and associated works.

Key Responsibilities

  * Manage day-to-day site activities ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

  * Supervise and coordinate teams and subcontractors for:

      * Replacement of sludge tanks

      * Installation of pipework around sludge tanks

      * Concrete works and structural repairs

      * Installation of new handrails and access safety features

  * Ensure works are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.

  * Liaise with client representatives and maintain strong communication throughout the project.

  * Monitor quality control and implement corrective actions where necessary.

  * Prepare and maintain site documentation, including risk assessments and method statements.

Requirements

  * Previous experience on Thames Water sites is essential.

  * Strong knowledge of water treatment processes and associated civil works.

  * Proven ability to manage complex projects involving multiple trades.

  * Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations.

  * Strong leadership and communication skills.

  * CSCS card and relevant site management qualifications (e.g., SMSTS).

  * Full UK driving license.

Desirable

  * Experience with sludge treatment facilities.

  * Knowledge of pipework installation and concrete structures.

  * First Aid certification.
