Job Description

A leading civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Site Agent to oversee the delivery of a major highways scheme in Cambridge. This is a fast-paced project with strong potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities

  * 

    Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely and in line with programme

  * 

    Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers

  * 

    Produce, review and approve RAMS, permits and daily site reports

  * 

    Maintain full compliance with HSEQ and CDM requirements

  * 

    Liaise regularly with the Project Manager, local authorities and other stakeholders

  * 

    Monitor progress, address site issues and maintain cost, quality and programme control

Requirements

  * 

    Proven experience as a Site Agent on highways or civil engineering projects

  * 

    Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills

  * 

    SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), First Aid

  * 

    NEC contract experience beneficial

  * 

    Able to start immediately

  * 

    Eligible to work on a CIS or Ltd basis

Offer

  * 

    £460–£550 per day

  * 

    Outside IR35

  * 

    CIS or Ltd

  * 

    8-month contract with extension opportunities

  * 

    Supportive project team and established contractor
