Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Agent to join a water treatment project in Oldham, working with a well-established civil engineering subcontractor. This is an immediate requirement and offers the opportunity to work on key infrastructure works within a regulated water environment.

Site Agent Role & Responsibilities:

  * 

    Managing day-to-day site operations on water treatment schemes

  * 

    Supervising subcontractors, direct labour, and plant on site

  * 

    Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification

  * 

    Coordinating civil engineering works including drainage, ducting, concrete structures, and pipework

  * 

    Leading health & safety on site, including toolbox talks and site briefings

  * 

    Liaising with the Project Manager, Site Engineers, and the main contractor

  * 

    Monitoring site progress and reporting against programme

  * 

    Managing site documentation and quality control processes

  * 

    Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and industry regulations

Site Agent Requirements:

  * 

    Proven experience working as a Site Agent on water or wastewater treatment schemes

  * 

    Strong civil engineering background within the utilities sector

  * 

    Experience working for or alongside civil engineering subcontractors

  * 

    SMSTS qualification

  * 

    Valid CSCS card

  * 

    First Aid at Work (preferred)

  * 

    Strong leadership and organisational skills
