Pay Rate: £16.71 per hour (Umbrella) OR £12.71 per hour (PAYE Direct)

Hours: Full-time hours (Monday - Friday)

Duration: Cover work / Short-term assignment

The Opportunity

Search Consultancy is recruiting a reliable Site Cleaner for a cover assignment at a high-profile site in Teesport. Offering competitive, compliant payroll options of £16.71/hr (Umbrella) or £12.71/hr (PAYE Direct), this position is ideal for an operative looking to get straight to work with a prompt, dependable payout.

If you hold a valid CSCS card, take pride in maintaining high safety and hygiene standards on live construction sites, and are available for cover work, we want to hear from you.

Your Role & Responsibilities

Working closely with site management, you will be responsible for keeping the site facilities, office environments, and welfare areas clean, safe, and fully sanitized:

Welfare & Office Cleaning: Routine cleaning and sanitising of site offices, canteen areas, drying rooms, meeting rooms, and rest areas.

Sanitation & Hygiene: Deep cleaning and sanitising washrooms, toilets, sinks, and high-touch points (door handles, railings, keypads) to maintain high health standards.

Waste & Stock Management: Emptying waste bins, segregating rubbish into proper site disposal points, and monitoring cleaning supply stock levels.

Housekeeping Duties: Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, wiping down surfaces, and ensuring all communal areas remain presentable and orderly throughout the shift.

Health & Safety Compliance: Working safely around site personnel, adhering to site health and safety guidelines, and correctly using cleaning chemicals (COSHH).

What We're Looking For

To meet industrial site compliance standards, applicants must possess:

CSCS Card: A valid CSCS Card is strictly mandatory for site access.

Cleaning Experience: Proven experience as a Site Cleaner, Industrial Cleaner, or Commercial Cleaner on construction or industrial sites.

Work Ethic & Initiative: Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently to keep facilities in top condition.

PPE: Standard 5-point PPE (hard hat, high-vis vest/jacket, safety boots, gloves, protective eyewear).

Right to Work: Valid proof of right to work in the UK.
