The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major highways scheme in Bishop Auckland. This is a long-term role offering a full year of work on a well-resourced civils project, covering road construction, drainage, structures and associated works.
Key Responsibilities
*
Setting out for highways, drainage, kerbs and associated civils
*
Completing QA documentation, as-builts and site records
*
Providing technical support to the Site and Project Managers
*
Checking drawings and resolving engineering queries
*
Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring work meets specification
*
Upholding all site health & safety requirements
Requirements
*
Proven experience on highways / civils projects
*
Proficient with Total Station, GPS, AutoCAD
*
Strong understanding of drainage, earthworks and road construction
*
CSCS card (essential)
*
Available to start 1st December
