Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major earthworks package on a large-scale civil engineering project in Northampton.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading contractor on a significant infrastructure scheme, supporting the delivery of extensive earthworks operations.

Responsibilities

  * Setting out and surveying earthworks activities.

  * Producing and maintaining accurate site records.

  * Ensuring works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and programme requirements.

  * Managing QA documentation, ITPs and as-built records.

  * Liaising with site management, subcontractors and the wider project team.

  * Identifying and resolving engineering and technical issues on site.

  * Supporting the implementation of health, safety and environmental standards.

Requirements

  * Proven experience as a Site Engineer on large-scale earthworks, infrastructure or civil engineering projects.

  * Competent using Leica and/or Trimble surveying equipment.

  * Strong understanding of QA processes and site documentation.

  * Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

  * Valid CSCS Card.

  * SMSTS or SSSTS beneficial.

  * Full UK driving licence preferred.
