Job Description

We are recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a well-established groundworks and civil engineering contractor on a major project in Bristol.

The role will involve working across a full groundworks package, supporting the site team with setting out, drawing reviews and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

  * Day-to-day setting out of groundworks, foundations, drainage and external works.

  * Reviewing drawings and specifications.

  * Checking levels, dimensions and coordinates.

  * Compiling QA documentation and as-built information.

  * Supporting the Site Manager and Foremen with engineering queries.

  * Working closely with subcontractors and the wider site team.

Requirements

  * Previous groundworks or civil engineering experience.

  * Strong setting out and drawing-reading ability.

  * Previous subcontractor experience preferred.

  * Good understanding of QA procedures.

  * CSCS required.

  * Own kit advantageous but not essential – kit can be provided if required.
