Job Description

Carmichael UK is recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major section of the HS2 project in Buckinghamshire. This is an excellent opportunity to work on one of the UK's largest infrastructure schemes, delivering critical earthworks and drainage packages within a high-performing project team.

The Role

As Site Engineer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day engineering management of earthworks and drainage activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, accurately, and in line with programme and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Setting out and surveying for earthworks and drainage works
	
Producing and maintaining accurate site records
	
Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical documentation
	
Managing subcontractors and ensuring compliance with design requirements
	
Supporting quality assurance and as-built documentation
	
Liaising with site management, design teams and stakeholders
	
Ensuring health, safety and environmental standards are maintained at all times

Requirements

Previous experience as a Site Engineer on major civil engineering projects
	
Strong background in earthworks and drainage
	
Proficient with setting out equipment and surveying techniques
	
Civil Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent)
	
CSCS Card
	
Full right to work in the UK
