Job Description

Site Manager – Residential – 2 Weeks Holiday Cover

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to provide two weeks’ holiday cover on a live residential development. The Site Manager will be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day running of the site and ensuring works continue safely and to programme.

About the role of Site Manager

The Site Manager will take responsibility for the residential development during the existing manager’s holiday. You will coordinate trades and subcontractors, maintain health and safety standards and ensure the project continues to progress smoothly.

Responsibilities for Site Manager

  * Managing day-to-day site operations

  * Coordinating subcontractors and trades

  * Monitoring quality and progress

  * Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed

  * Conducting site inductions and toolbox talks where required

  * Liaising with subcontractors and the wider project team

  * Maintaining site records and reporting any issues

  * Ensuring works are completed in accordance with drawings and specifications

Requirements for Site Manager

  * Previous residential construction experience

  * Proven experience working as a Site Manager

  * Valid SMSTS

  * CSCS card

  * First Aid

  * Strong understanding of health and safety

  * Ability to take control of an established site for the two-week period
