Job Description

Our client, a prominent organisation in the defence & technology sectors, is seeking a skilled Payroll Manager on a four-month contract basis. This role is essential for maintaining accurate payroll operations and ensuring seamless communication with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Using Dayforce as the payroll provider to process payroll
Liaising with the Finance and People Director to ensure accurate data collection and reporting
Handling payroll transactions and resolving any technical issues that may arise
Providing cover for upcoming absence within the payroll team
Understanding and administering the rewards platform (Benifex)
Conducting payroll operations through SFPT and addressing occasional technical problems
Ensuring timely and accurate payroll submissions

Job Requirements:

Experience in managing payroll operations in various industries
Strong background in finance and payroll processes
Familiarity with Dayforce payroll system
Understanding of rewards platforms, specifically Benifex
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data
Proficient in addressing technical issues and ensuring smooth payroll processing
