Site Manager – Industrial Scheme

Location: West Yorkshire
Start Date: Immediate
Duration: Long-Term / Ongoing
Rate: DOE

We are currently recruiting for a Site Manager to join an established contractor working on an industrial scheme in West Yorkshire.

This is a more paperwork and administration-focused Site Manager position, ideal for someone who is highly organised, IT literate and confident managing site documentation and project systems. The successful candidate will need to be comfortable working with various paperwork and software packages, whilst also having a good understanding of general site management.

Key Responsibilities:

  * Manage and maintain all required site paperwork and documentation.

  * Ensure project records are kept accurate and up to date.

  * Complete daily reports, site records, inspections and other project documentation.

  * Manage and update information through project software systems.

  * Liaise with the wider site and project team to ensure documentation is completed correctly and on time.

  * Assist with project reporting, progress updates and general administration.

  * Ensure works are being carried out in line with company H&S procedures and project requirements.

  * Provide general site management support where required.

Requirements:

  * Previous experience as a Site Manager or Assistant Site Manager.

  * Strong background in site paperwork and project administration.

  * IT literate and confident using computer-based systems.

  * Experience using software such as Procore and ideally Index.

  * Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

  * Good understanding of construction processes and site procedures.

  * Strong communication skills.

  * Own laptop would be advantageous.

This role could suit an experienced Assistant Site Manager who is particularly strong on the paperwork, IT and administration side of site management and is looking to take on a longer-term opportunity.
