Highly regarded contractor are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their growing division in the North East. Working on projects up to £30m in the region, and a turnover of £100m. The company are looking for someone who has worked on social housing refurbishment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Responsibility for the day to day management of the site, reporting to the Project Manager/ Contracts Manager.
* Responsibility for managing health, safety and environmental matters and ensure compliance with the management systems
* Be able to prepare hazard/risk assessments, method statements, etc, ensuring quality, safety and environmental issues are established and documented before work commences
* Carrying out regular inspections to monitor performance
* Maintaining the site diary, issuing works records, recording extra works inc. site measurements.
* Preparation of fortnightly programmes.
* Preparing timesheets, plant records etc…
Requirements:
* At least 4 year's Site Management experience on social housing refurb schemes
* Excellent communication skills
* Good tenure
* Ability to read intense drawings in detail
* SMSTS
* Full UK drivers license
