Job Description

Job Title: Site Manager – Re-Roofing Projects
Location: Berkshire (various sites across the region)
Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Manager to oversee re-roofing projects across the Berkshire area. This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary of up to £55,000, with the opportunity to manage multiple projects and play a key role in delivering high-quality roofing works safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  * Manage day-to-day site operations for re-roofing projects (pitched and flat roofing)

  * Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel

  * Ensure all works are carried out in line with health & safety regulations and company policies

  * Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines, ensuring successful delivery

  * Conduct site inspections and quality control checks

  * Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation

  * Liaise with clients, surveyors, and senior management

  * Resolve on-site issues efficiently and professionally

Requirements:

  * Proven experience as a Site Manager within roofing or construction (re-roofing experience essential)

  * Strong knowledge of roofing systems and materials

  * SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification

  * Valid CSCS card (Black or Gold preferred)

  * First Aid at Work certification (desirable)

  * Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills

  * Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure

  * Full UK driving licence
