Job Description

Job Title: Site Manager – Civil Engineering

Location: Office based in Bradford with travel required across the North and South of England

Company Overview:
Force Recruitment are working with a highly reputable and growing civil engineering company based in Bradford, delivering high-quality infrastructure and utility projects across the UK. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Site Manager with a strong civil engineering background to oversee projects nationwide.

Role Overview:
The Site Manager will be responsible for managing and delivering civil engineering works safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. The successful candidate must be willing to travel and stay away when required to support projects across both the North and South of England.

Key Responsibilities:

  * 

    Oversee day-to-day site operations on civil engineering projects

  * 

    Manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers

  * 

    Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget

  * 

    Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance

  * 

    Coordinate site activities and ensure work programmes are followed

  * 

    Liaise with project managers, clients, and utility providers

  * 

    Complete site documentation including RAMS, permits, and progress reports

  * 

    Ensure quality control across all civil works

Scope of Works::

  * 

    Ducting installations

  * 

    Drainage works

  * 

    Overhead line infrastructure

  * 

    General civil engineering works related to utilities and infrastructure

Essential Requirements:

  * 

    Proven experience as a Site Manager within civil engineering

  * 

    Strong background in utilities / infrastructure works

  * 

    Valid NG Persons ticket

  * 

    SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)

  * 

    Full UK driving licence

  * 

    Willingness to travel and stay away when required
