Site Manager - Earthworks, Roads & Sewers and Plotworks

Location: Halifax
 Employer: Civil Engineering & Groundworks Contractor
 Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum (Permanent - PAYE) or up to £71,250 per annum (CIS) 
We're recruiting for an experienced Site Manager in Halifax with strong earthworks, roads and sewers and plotworks experience to join a leading civil engineering and groundworks contractor on a permanent basis. You'll oversee the delivery of infrastructure works on new-build housing developments, ensuring quality, safety and programme performance across all R&S activities.

The Role

Manage day‑to‑day operations for roads, sewers, drainage and associated groundworks
Coordinate trades, subcontractors and materials
Maintain standards of health & safety, quality and compliance
Ensure works are delivered on schedule and in line with client specifications
Liaise with site teams, engineers and project managers to keep projects progressing smoothly

About You

Proven experience managing roads & sewers on residential schemes
Strong understanding of civils, drainage and adoptable standards (S38/S104)
Confident coordinating teams and maintaining high site standards
Excellent communication and organisational skills

Requirements

CSCS (Managers card preferred)
SMSTS
Full UK driving licence
