Job Description

EDM Recruitment Group are seeking an experienced Site Manager for a short-term contract assignment, with the potential for further opportunities upon completion.

Location: St Andrews, Fife
Start Date: Monday 27th April
Duration: 4 weeks (with possible extension or future placements)

The Role:
You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard. This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to manage subcontractors effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  * Manage and coordinate all on-site activities

  * Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations

  * Supervise subcontractors and site personnel

  * Monitor progress against project timelines

  * Maintain quality control standards

  * Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and project teams

  * Resolve any on-site issues efficiently

Requirements:

  * Proven experience as a Site Manager in construction

  * Valid SMSTS certification

  * CSCS card (Black or Gold preferred)

  * First Aid at Work certification

  * Strong organisational and leadership skills

  * Ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment
