Site Manager – Retail Fit Out & Rollout Projects

Manchester (Initial Project) | UK Travel Thereafter | Permanent
£50,000 - £58,000 + Vehicle/Allowance + Benefits

Elite Construction Talent are recruiting on behalf of a well-established retail and commercial fit-out contractor for an experienced Site Manager to support a major national retail refurbishment and rollout programme.

The role will initially be based on a flagship project in Manchester before progressing onto projects throughout the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for a practical, hands-on Site Manager who enjoys delivering fast-paced retail projects and isn't afraid to get involved when required.

Working across a nationally recognised retail estate, you will be responsible for managing refurbishment and fit-out projects from inception through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  * Manage retail refurbishment and fit-out projects from site set-up through to handover.

  * Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site labour.

  * Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget.

  * Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and health & safety inspections.

  * Manage site logistics, deliveries, materials and plant requirements.

  * Liaise with clients, contracts managers and project teams.

  * Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control.

  * Resolve site issues and support project delivery where required.

Requirements

  * Previous experience delivering retail fit-out or refurbishment projects.

  * Strong site management experience within fast-track environments.

  * Practical construction background with a willingness to be hands-on when required.

  * Experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades.

  * Comfortable travelling nationally following completion of the initial Manchester project.

  * Full UK Driving Licence.

  * SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid.
