Site Manager

8‑Week Contract

Location: Tyne & Wear, NE38 

Start Date: Monday 15th June

Duration: 8 Weeks

Pay Rate: £260 per day

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee works within a tenanted unit, ensuring smooth delivery, strong communication, and high‑quality standards throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities

Managing day‑to‑day site operations within a live, tenanted environment

Coordinating trades and ensuring works progress to programme

Reading and interpreting drawings confidently

Overseeing suspended ceiling works, general builders' works, and installation of new doors

Carrying out minor works where required 

Maintaining site safety, compliance, and clear communication with stakeholders

Required Tickets & Certifications

SMSTS

Asbestos Awareness

CSCS Black Card

First Aid

Candidate Profile

Strong communicator with experience working in occupied/tenanted spaces

Confident reading and working from drawings

Hands‑on approach with willingness to undertake minor tasks when needed

Proven ability to manage subcontractors and maintain high safety standards
