Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee the successful delivery of a commercial office fit-out project in Kent.

This role requires a proactive and organised Site Manager with a strong background in commercial fit-outs, capable of managing subcontractors, maintaining programme, and ensuring the highest standards of health & safety and quality throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day running of the site.
Coordinate and supervise all subcontractors and trades.
Ensure works are completed safely, on programme, and to a high standard.
Maintain compliance with all Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and daily briefings.
Liaise with the client, project team, and suppliers.
Monitor progress, quality, and programme, resolving site issues as they arise.
Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must hold the following:

Black CSCS Card (Manager Level)
SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
First Aid at Work (3-Day)
Fire Marshal Certificate
Asbestos Awareness Certificate
NVQ Level 5 or Level 6 in Construction Site Management (or equivalent)
Proven experience managing commercial office fit-out projects
Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and CDM regulations
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Available to start on 17th August and commit through to Christmas
