Job Description

Site Manager - Water Treatment Projects (Severn Trent)

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Site Manager to oversee the safe and successful delivery of water treatment works projects across the Severn Trent Water framework.

You will be responsible for:

Day-to-day management of water treatment site activities
Supervising direct labour, subcontractors, and site operatives
Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards
Maintaining compliance with HSEQ policies and Severn Trent Water procedures
Coordinating site logistics, materials, and programme activities
Conducting site inspections, toolbox talks, and progress reporting
Working closely with Project Managers, engineers, and client representativesEssential:

Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering water treatment or wastewater treatment projects
Previous experience working on Severn Trent Water, AMP frameworks, or other UK water utility projects
Strong understanding of civil, mechanical, and process installations within treatment works
SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications
Excellent leadership, communication, and subcontractor management skills
Knowledge of HSEQ requirements within the water sector
