Job Title: Tier 1 Site Manager - Relocation Project (York University)
We are seeking an experienced Tier 1 Site Manager to oversee the successful delivery of a major relocation project at York University. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all on-site operations, ensuring the relocation is completed safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to university activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day site operations throughout the relocation project.
Coordinate subcontractors, logistics, and stakeholder activities.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and site procedures.
Monitor project progress, quality, and programme, resolving issues as they arise.
Liaise with the client, university representatives, and project team to maintain effective communication.
Maintain accurate site records and report on project performance.Requirements:
Proven experience as a Tier 1 Site Manager on large-scale construction or relocation projects.
Valid SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Manager Card), and First Aid at Work certification.
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
Experience working in live operational environments and managing multiple stakeholders.
