Freelance Site Manager – Facade Remediation Project

Location: Brighton , East Sussex 

Rate: £280–£300 per day CIS

Duration: Ongoing, with the potential to become a temp-to-perm position for the right candidate

Start: ASAP / [Start Date]

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to work as No.2 to the Project Manager on a major facade remediation project.

You will take ownership of the facade package, overseeing the day-to-day delivery, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring the works are delivered safely, to programme and to the required quality standards.

The Role

Manage and oversee the facade remediation package from site.
	
Work closely with the Project Manager as the No.2 on the project.
	
Coordinate subcontractors, labour and site activities.
	
Monitor programme, quality and H&S compliance.
	
Attend site meetings and coordinate with the wider project team.
	
Ensure works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and RAMS.
	
Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants and the client team.

Requirements

Applicants must have:

A relevant degree qualification.
	
Valid SMSTS.
	
Valid CSCS card.
	
Valid First Aid qualification.
	
Previous experience working for Tier 1 contractors.
	
Proven experience managing facade/remediation packages.
	
A stable career history with no excessive movement between employers.
	
Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills.

Package

£280–£300 per day CIS, depending on experience and suitability.

The role is ongoing, with the potential to become a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate.

Face-to-face interviews will be held during the next week, so candidates must be available to attend an interview at short notice.
