Job Description

My client are a national civil engineering contractor who are currently seeking a Site Manager to help deliver a major HS2 scheme in Brackley, with an immediate start available. The role will focus on drainage and structures, making this an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager with a strong heavy civils background.

Site Manager Responsibilities:

  * Toolbox talks

  * Client liaison

  * Stakeholder liaison

  * Health and safety compliance

  * Ordering materials

  * Managing day-to-day site operations

  * Supervising subcontractors and site teams

  * Managing the delivery of drainage and structural works

  * Overseeing reinforced concrete and associated civils works

  * Ensuring works are delivered on programme and to specification

  * Managing RAMS, permits and site documentation

  * Overseeing quality control, inspections and as-built records

  * Supporting the Project Manager with programme delivery and reporting

Site Manager Requirements:

  * Black or Gold CSCS

  * SMSTS

  * Previous experience managing major infrastructure or heavy civil engineering projects

  * Experience delivering drainage and structures is essential

  * Previous HS2 experience would be advantageous

  * Strong civils background

  * Experience managing subcontractors and site teams

  * Good understanding of RAMS, health and safety and quality requirements

  * IT literate

  * Full UK driving licence
