Site Manager – Warehouse Store Refurbishment / Fit Out
Start Date: Wednesday 2nd September 2026
Duration: 5–6 weeks
Project: Warehouse Store Refurbishment / Fit Out
Position: Freelance Site Manager
Rate: £270 - £300/shift
We are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a warehouse store refurbishment and fit-out project, starting Wednesday 2nd September for an initial 5–6 week duration.
The Role
  * Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the site.
  * Coordinate subcontractors, trades and deliveries.
  * Ensure works are completed safely, on programme and to the required standard.
  * Manage site health & safety and maintain site documentation.
  * Liaise with the Project Manager, contractors and other stakeholders.
  * Ensure the project is delivered efficiently through to completion and handover.
Requirements
Candidates must hold:
  * SMSTS
  * CSCS Black, White or Gold Card
  * First Aid at Work
  * UKATA Asbestos Awareness
  * Fire Marshal
Ideal Candidate
  * Previous experience as a Site Manager on warehouse, retail refurbishment or commercial fit-out projects.
  * Strong knowledge of site health & safety.
  * Confident managing multiple subcontractors and trades.
  * Good communication and organisational skills.
  * Able to take ownership of the site and drive the project through to completion
