Site Supervisor – Residential Construction & Renovations
South Yorkshire (Sheffield, Barnsley & surrounding areas)

Westwood Joinery and Construction are a trusted name in domestic construction and renovation across South Yorkshire, delivering high-quality workmanship on projects ranging from level-access showers and bathroom adaptations to full refurbishments, kitchen installations, joinery, and house extensions.

The Role

We are recruiting an experienced Site Supervisor to lead and coordinate multiple residential construction and renovation projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

  * Manage day-to-day operations across multiple domestic sites

  * Oversee site operations and coordinate the workforce

  * Accurately quote for works (scope, pricing, exclusions & variations)

  * Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget

  * Enforce strict compliance with health & safety regulations and site protocols

  * Manage tradespeople, subcontractors, and suppliers

  * Conduct regular site inspections and proactively resolve issues

  * Liaise with clients, surveyors, suppliers, and local authorities throughout the project lifecycle

  * Monitor project progress, maintain quality benchmarks, and keep accurate site records

  * Report progress to senior management

Candidate Requirements

  * Proven experience in site management within residential construction or renovation

  * Strong leadership and team coordination skills

  * Ability to manage several projects and teams at the same time

  * Solid knowledge of UK building regulations and compliance standards

  * Full clean UK driving licence

  * CSCS card and SMSTS or SSSTS certification (preferred)

  * Minimum 2 years’ construction management experience (preferred)
