Job Description

URGENT REQUIREMENT

Site Supervisor – 6 Week Contract – Fitout

We are currently seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee a small fit out project in Central Reading, starting 24th August for a 6-week duration. This is a hands-on role managing a small team of subcontractors on a live site, working closely with a client who will remain in occupation throughout the works.

Responsibilities

Site Supervision & Coordination

  * Supervise day-to-day site activities, managing 2–4 subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.

Health & Safety Management

  * Maintain high standards of site safety, ensuring compliance with HSE regulations and carrying out regular checks across all activities.

Toolbox Talks & Workforce Briefings

  * Deliver toolbox talks and daily briefings, ensuring all operatives are aware of site procedures and safety requirements.

Site Documentation & Reporting

  * Maintain accurate site records including daily site diaries, progress updates, and any incidents or variations.

Client Liaison & Site Security

  * Act as the key point of contact for the client on-site, ensuring minimal disruption to operations while maintaining site security and control at all times.

Requirements

Must have valid SSSTS

Must have valid First Aid at Work

Must have proven experience supervising fit out or small-scale construction projects

Must be based within a commutable distance of Reading

Benefits
