Job Description

We are working with a drylining subcontractor on a long-term project and are looking for a reliable labourer or skilled worker to join our team, carrying out general labouring duties, assisting the dryliners on site, and supporting day-to-day operations to help keep the project running smoothly.

Typical tasks inclde:

  * Carrying plasterboard sheets to and around the site

  * Helping dryliners fix boards to metal stud walls or ceilings

  * Measuring, cutting, and prepping boards

  * Mixing compounds and helping with jointing

  * Keeping the work area tidy

  * Using drills, screw guns, and basic hand tools

  * Working safely around other trades

If you’ve helped with drywall before, this counts as semi-skilled labour which employers like.

What You Usually Need

  * CSCS card

  * Basic PPE (boots, hard hat, high-vis)

  * Reliability and ability to lift boards safely

  * Experience working with plasterboard is a big plus but necessity

Expected Pay

£15–£17.50/hr depending on experience and skill
