Location: Coalville, Leicestershire
Salary: Up to £37,000 per annum + Bonus Dependant on Experience

SMART Repair Technician | Bodyshop | Automotive

We are currently recruiting for an experienced SMART Repair Technician to join a busy and growing automotive bodyshop in Coalville. This role is ideal for someone with a background in vehicle repair, cosmetic repair, paint spraying, or panel repair who is looking for a stable, long-term opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  * Carry out SMART repairs (Small to Medium Area Repair Techniques) on vehicles

  * Repair bumper scuffs, scratches, dents, alloy wheels, and minor body damage

  * Work on a range of vehicles including cars, commercial vehicles, and fleet vehicles

  * Ensure all repairs meet BVRLA / insurance / manufacturer standards

  * Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Requirements:

  * Proven experience as a SMART Repair Technician / Bodyshop Technician

  * Experience in bodyshop, accident repair centre, or vehicle refurbishment environments

  * Ability to carry out end-to-end cosmetic vehicle repairs

  * Full UK Driving Licence

  * High attention to detail with a focus on quality and efficiency

Desirable Skills:

  * Experience with alloy wheel refurbishment

  * Background in panel beating, vehicle prep, or detailing

  * Knowledge of insurance repair processes
