Job Description

Our client, a leading Used Car Supermarket in Derbyshire, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their expanding workshop team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled vehicle technician to work within a modern and fully equipped facility, delivering first-class service and repairs. The Vehicle Technician will benefit from competitive remuneration, ongoing training, and excellent career advancement prospects.

Benefits:

Basic salary of £35,000 – £45,000, depending on qualifications and experience
Monday to Friday working hours, 8:00am – 5:30pm
No weekend work

Work within a modern workshop with a varied workloadDuties of a Vehicle Technician:

Conduct servicing, maintenance, and comprehensive vehicle health checks
Diagnose faults using the latest diagnostic equipment
Complete mechanical repairs across a wide range of makes and models
Prepare used vehicles to a high retail standard
Carry out MOT testing where qualified
Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards
Accurately complete job cards and workshop documentation
Collaborate with team members to maintain workshop productivity and qualityRequirements of a Vehicle Technician:

Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic
Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
MOT licence is advantageous but not essential
