Job Description

Background | Overview: The software engineering team (currently 20+) is growing and we’re looking for curious, pragmatic Software Engineers who enjoy solving problems where the path isn’t always fully mapped out. This role isn’t about following tightly defined specifications in a rigid environment. Instead, you’ll have the opportunity to work with emerging requirements, asking the right questions, and taking real ownership of how solutions are designed and built. If that sounds like your kind of challenge, read on. The role: You’ll work as part of a collaborative squad building Azure‑hosted .NET applications - As an experienced Software Engineer, you’ll naturally be writing, testing, and maintaining high‑quality code. You’ll contribute to discussions about the future direction of the tech stack and play an active role in fostering a modern DevOps culture across the team. This is a role where your ideas are welcomed and your judgement is trusted. Technology stack: The role will be approximately 80% backend with the main focus on .NET (core application development); Azure (Azure Functions, Service Bus, AKS etc); SQL; and JavaScript frameworks such as React and Next.js (nice to have) Working Practices: The hiring manager understands that people do their best work in different ways - creating an environment where you feel comfortable, and able to produce your best work. Subsequently, you may only want to go in to the office once a week, or if preferred you can be more office‑based, where collaboration is immediate and your tea‑making skills are openly judged! Interview process: 2-3 stages, comprising of an interview with the team, a technical interview, and a two-way Q&A. If your experience matches the required tech stack, and you’re intrigued to find out more then why not apply
