Job Description

Commercial Electrician – Solar (Domestic Projects)
Location: Kent (within 1 hour radius)
Salary: Competitive + Benefits
Company: TradeField (on behalf of a leading renewables contractor)

TradeField is currently working with a leading renewables company who are looking to recruit a Commercial Electrician to join their growing team.

This role will focus on the installation and maintenance of solar systems on commercial premises. Previous solar experience is beneficial, but not essential—full training will be provided for the right candidate who is looking to move into the renewable energy sector.

Key responsibilities:

  * Installation and maintenance of domestic solar PV systems

  * General commercial electrical work

  * Working as part of a team on various sites

  * Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with regulations

Requirements:

  * Minimum 5 years’ experience as an electrician

  * ECS Gold Card

  * Ideally some Solar electrical experience (preferred)

  * Full UK driving licence

  * Based within 1 hour of Kent

  * Strong interest in moving into the solar/renewables sector

Desirable:

  * Inspection & Testing qualification
