Job Description

Clevedon, South West of England | £48,000 – £55,000 + Company Van + Fuel Card + Overtime + Training + Quarterly Socials | Full Time | Mon-Fri | 08:00 - 16:00

What You'll Be Doing

  * Installing and commissioning solar PV systems

  * Installing battery storage and hybrid inverter systems

  * Completing AC and DC electrical works

  * Inspection, testing and electrical certification

  * Commissioning inverters, batteries and monitoring platforms

  * Configuring CT clamps, meters and communication equipment

  * Fault finding and diagnosing electrical issues

  * Completing remedial works where required

  * Ensuring all installations comply with BS7671, MCS requirements and manufacturer guidelines

  * Completing accurate commissioning records and certification

  * Working closely with our Solar Project Manager and Design Engineer to deliver exceptional installations

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  * Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)

  * 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

  * Experience with inspection, testing and electrical certification

  * Solar PV installation experience

  * Battery storage installation experience

  * Strong fault-finding skills

  * Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable:

  * Inspection & Testing qualification (C&G 2391 or equivalent)

  * ECS Gold Card

  * MCS installation experience

  * Manufacturer training on solar PV and battery systems

  * Experience with domestic and commercial renewable energy installations
