Sous Chef - £17.93 per hour | Monday to Friday | Temp to Perm | Witney

Looking for your next Sous Chef opportunity with a great work-life balance and the chance to secure a permanent position? Join a welcoming team in Witney, Oxfordshire, working predominantly Monday to Friday, 07:00-15:00, with occasional weekend and night cover required during holidays.

This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity, with the potential to move into a permanent position after 12 weeks. You'll play an important role in supporting the kitchen team, preparing high-quality meals and helping to maintain excellent standards across the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

As a Sous Chef, you will:

Support the day-to-day running of the kitchen
Prepare and cook fresh, high-quality meals
Support and guide the kitchen team during service
Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen safety
Assist with stock control and kitchen organisation
Ensure dishes are prepared and presented to a high standard
Step up and take responsibility for the kitchen when required 

What we're looking for

To be successful as a Sous Chef, you'll need:

Previous experience in a Sous Chef or senior chef position
Strong knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety
The ability to confidently support and lead a kitchen team
A reliable and professional approach
Good organisation and communication skills
Flexibility to provide occasional weekend and night cover during holidays
