Job Description

We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming and supportive school in St Albans. This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm, with an immediate start available. Previous experience working with children in the UK is essential, and experience supporting pupils with special educational needs is highly valued.

The Role of a Special Needs Teaching Assistant:

As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will:

Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils with a range of special educational needs.
Work closely with teachers and other staff to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Help ensure that every student feels supported and encouraged both in the classroom and around the school.
Assist with classroom management and daily routines, helping to create a calm and structured setting.
Play a key role in fostering an atmosphere where all pupils can develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning.Requirements:

Available Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm.
Hold a valid Child & Adult DBS, or be willing to apply for one.
Experience working with children who have special educational needs.
