The Teaching Personnel Norwich SEN team is seeking confident and adaptable Cover Supervisors to work across a range of specialist settings. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs while developing their skills in education. About the Role As a Cover Supervisor in SEN settings, you’ll play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning when teachers are absent — supporting students to stay engaged, focused, and supported throughout the school day. In this role, you will: Supervise classes using pre-set work provided by teaching staff Support pupils with a range of special educational needs, including SEMH, ASD, and learning difficulties Help maintain a calm, structured, and positive classroom environment Adapt your approach to meet the individual needs of students Work closely with teaching assistants and school staff to support behaviour and engagement Encourage confidence, independence, and participation in learning Why Work with Teaching Personnel Norwich?
