Job Description

kolt recruitment are looking for a Strip Fitter (MET Technician) to join a busy and well-established accident repair centre based in Kingsbury, London.
This position is suited to an experienced MET/Strip Fitter who can confidently strip, refit and diagnose vehicle components as part of the accident repair process.
Key responsibilities

  * Stripping and refitting vehicle panels, trims, interiors and mechanical components

  * Diagnosing additional damage for accurate repair instruction

  * Supporting panel and paint departments with efficient workflow

  * Ensuring all work meets manufacturer and insurance standards

  * Maintaining high levels of accuracy, safety and organisation

Requirements

  * Proven experience as a Strip Fitter or MET Technician in an accident repair centre

  * Strong understanding of vehicle structures, body components and mechanical systems

  * Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality control

  * Good problem-solving skills and ability to identify hidden damage

  * Full UK driving licence
