Job Description

A well-established and highly respected structural and civil engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join its growing team. With over 40 years of industry presence, the practice has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality engineering solutions across the commercial, residential, education, mixed-use, and sports & leisure sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically motivated engineer looking to take the next step in their career by contributing to the successful delivery of exciting projects in a collaborative and supportive environment. The Role As a Structural Engineer, you will: Lead and manage structural design on a variety of projects Deliver high-quality technical outputs in line with UK codes and standards Prepare, check, and review design calculations, drawings, and reports Work closely with clients, architects, and the wider design team to deliver projects effectively Attend site inspections and provide technical support during construction Contribute to project coordination and ensure delivery to agreed schedules and quality Assist with the development and mentoring of junior engineers Participate in the continuous improvement of design processes and quality systems Key Requirements We are looking for someone who: Holds a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering Is working towards Chartered status (MIStructE or MICE preferred) Has at least 3-4 years' experience in structural engineering, ideally within a consultancy Strong technical knowledge of steel, concrete, timber, masonry, and composite materials Experience in delivering projects from concept through to completion Excellent communication and team collaboration skills Proficient in structural analysis and design software Competent in AutoCAD and/or Revit How to Apply To be considered, please apply directly or contact Abi on (phone number removed) for a confidential discussion
