Job Description
Eden Brown Synergy is currently recruiting for a Children and Young People's Occupational Therapist to join the team in Suffolk.
Rate: £41 per hour (umbrella)
This is a flexible, county-wide role supporting children and young people with complex disabilities. The role aims to maximise quality of life, increase independence, and enhance safety by providing specialist assessments, equipment, and adaptations, as well as supporting families and carers.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality occupational therapy assessments of need within the local authority's statutory responsibilities.
Undertake home-based assessments for children and young people with complex disabilities.
Identify difficulties and develop solutions through advice, information, equipment, and adaptations.
Work collaboratively with professionals from health, education, housing, and community services.
Promote independence and improve outcomes for children, young people, and their families.
Requirements
HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist
Experience working with disabled children (preferably within a Social Care setting)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and organisational skills
