Supply Teaching Assistant – Primary
Location: Hertfordshire
Salary: £90–£100 per day, dependent on experience and qualifications
Contract: Part-time / Flexible, Temporary
Start: 20 September 2026

Teach Now is seeking experienced Teaching Assistants for daily and short-term assignments across primary schools in Hertfordshire.
Assignments can include general classroom support, small-group work, 1:1 support and helping pupils with additional or SEN needs.
Responsibilities
Support learning across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
Work with individuals and small groups.
Assist teachers with classroom activities and resources.
Encourage positive behaviour and pupil engagement.
Provide additional support to pupils who may be struggling academically or socially.
We would like to hear from candidates with
Previous school, nursery or child-support experience.
A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable.
Good literacy and numeracy skills.
A patient, dependable and proactive approach.
SEN experience is particularly welcomed.
