Duties will include: - Making a difference in the lives of those you support - Helping to use a range of recovery-oriented and person-centred planning tools - Ensuring all plans and records relating to the people we support are accurate and up to date - Supporting with everyday tasks to maximise the individual’s independence - Working in a consistent and positive way with local managers and other team members to ensure people get a great service - Undertaking various levels of personal care and manual handling About you To be a Support Worker at Certitude, it is essential you have experience for this role in: - Supporting people who may challenge (verbally, physically), particularly people on the autistic spectrum - Keeping calm and confident in challenging situations - Positive Behaviour Support - Enabling people with a learning disability/autism to take positive risks in their lives - Possess a manual driving licence and be able to drive a 7-seater van - Knowledge of the Transforming Care Agenda You will be given training, development and coaching to help you feel confident in providing great support and to help you advance in your career.
