English Secondary Teacher - SEMH School (Marple, Stockport) 

Are you a passionate and resilient English Teacher looking to make a real impact in the lives of young people? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an inspirational Secondary English Teacher to join a nurturing and dedicated SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school in Marple, Stockport.

About the Role

You will be teaching KS3-KS4 English within a specialist SEMH setting that supports pupils with additional social, emotional and behavioural needs. Classes are small, and you'll be supported by experienced teaching assistants, a therapeutic team, and a strong senior leadership team dedicated to helping both staff and students thrive.

✔ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
 ✔ Experience teaching English at secondary level
 ✔ A calm, empathetic and resilient approach
 ✔ A genuine passion for supporting pupils with SEMH needs
 ✔ Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
