Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging English Language and Literature lessons Inspire a passion for reading, writing, and analytical thinking Differentiate teaching to meet a wide range of learning needs Create a positive, inclusive classroom that promotes participation and progress Assess, monitor, and support student attainment through accurate feedback Contribute to whole‑school initiatives within the MAT✅ The Ideal Candidate Holds QTS or UK‑equivalent teaching qualification Degree in English or a related subject Proven experience teaching English in UK secondary schools Strong classroom management and communication skills Passionate about education and committed to student success📄 Contract Details Location: Weymouth, South Dorset Position: Teacher of English Type of Work: Long‑term supply (Temp to Perm opportunity) Start Date: ASAP Duration: Academic year (with potential permanence) Hours: 8:20am - 4:00pm (may vary) Pay: MPS / UPS equivalent Working Pattern: Full‑time🧾 Experience, Training & Compliance To be eligible through Prospero Teaching, you must: Hold QTS or equivalent Have at least 3 years' experience working with children or young people in the UK Hold Right to Work in the UK Have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply) Provide two professional child‑related references covering the last two years Have up‑to‑date safeguarding training (or be willing to complete)📩 Interested?
