 Salary: £90- £100 per day (depending on experience)

Are you a caring and motivated individual who's passionate about supporting young people in education? Tradewind Recruitment is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent, who are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team as soon as possible.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the classroom. You will work closely with teaching staff to support students across Key Stages 3 and 4, both in small groups and on a one-to-one basis. Your role will involve helping pupils to stay engaged in their learning, assisting with lesson delivery, and encouraging positive behaviour and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing tailored support to students with additional learning or behavioural needs

Assisting in lesson preparation and classroom activities

Promoting inclusion and ensuring all pupils can access the curriculum

Helping to maintain a positive and productive learning environment

Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff to raise attainment

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is:

Passionate about supporting the learning and wellbeing of young people

Patient, enthusiastic, and confident in building positive relationships

Adaptable and able to work effectively as part of a team

Experienced in supporting children or young people (school-based experience desirable but not essential)

Qualified to at least Level 2 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or with relevant transferable experience
